Want your baby to like his veggies?? Introduce vegetables to your baby first, before fruit. We tried it and it works!!!!
- Thanks Anne Waters!
Does your baby make sour faces when eating her baby food, eventually gagging over it? Mix it with rice cereal or with another fruit or vegetable! Again, it works – we have tried it!
- Thanks Mike Waters!
Does your child constantly throw his toys off of his highchair, and then expect you to keep picking them up?? Tie a string to the toys, so they hang over allowing him to cast them back to his tray! Hmmm, good one!
- Thanks Kara Gilbert!
Introducing the sippy cup to your infant can be stressful, especially when they choke after every drink! Add a little bit of rice cereal to the water to thicken it! This will slow the amount of water being swallowed!! Props to the rockabye baby team, we thought of that one!!
Bath time is a load of fun, but what do you do with all of those wet toys? After the bath, gather the toys and place them into a strainer. By the next bath time, they will be dry and mold free!! We will try that one!!
- Thanks June Norris!
Have you heard of The Dunstan Baby Language? Its a DVD that teaches methods on how to recognize the vocalizations and sounds babies make. Dunstan claims that you can communicate with your baby 0-3 months old by listening to the cry your baby makes. Different sounds have different meanings. I looked it up and it is very interesting! Many people are amazed by this, including Oprah!
- Thanks Jon Reichel!
Did your precious angels write with crayons all over your walls? Believe it or not, if you rub a folded slice of bread on the marks, they will disappear! That is something I hope to remember!
- Thanks Charlie Kaine
Is your child in a demanding and needy stage? (is that a stage??) Anyway, if you need time to yourself to fold clothes or to search websites (like ummm... I dont know, www.rockabyeproducts.com for example), have your child call grandma and ask grandma to read him a story over the phone. (apparently a loooong story is better!! :)
- Thanks Katie Hosh!
Having a lot of trouble containing your children in one area while you do housework? Invest in a playpen. Just sit your children inside of the playpen with toys and let them entertain themselves while you get to work. This really works, we know because this is my husband's tip!!
- Thanks Ricky Waters!
Do you need time to yourself, but do not know what to do during that time? Join in yoga classes! Committing to a class once or twice a week is a perfect way to get you out of the house alone and will also make you feel good about yourself. To find a yoga class near you, go to www.yogaclasssearch.com.

When grocery shopping with your child, let her participate. Give her the shopping list and a pencil, once you two find the item, let her cross it off of the list. This will keep her content while making the trip loads of fun. Very good idea!!
- Thanks Tamika Jones!
Having trouble getting your toddler to eat? Tell her you are going to sprinkle fairy dust or tell him you are going to sprinkle super hero dust on their food. Simply sprinkle cinnamon or sugar on it - Hopefully this will make them want to eat it all!!! Now that is something we are going to remember and try!!
- Thank you Sue Young!
Want a picnic but it is either too cold or rainy? But together a great lunch, spread a blanket on the floor and serve lunch with paper plates. You can ask your child to bring a long their friends or invite their favorite stuffed animals as guests. How cute!! love the idea!
- Thank you Steve Perry!
Having trouble tossing the pacifier? As always, your child wants something really badly. Whatever that something is, take him to the store and tell him he can pay for it with his pacifier. Take him up to the counter and tell the lady your son would like to pay for that special something with his pacifier. (also have other things to pay for so you can trick your son). tada! love it, great tip!!!
- Thank you Cora Williams!
